Block party:
how to do head-to-toe
color blocking

Do you ever feel the urge to step out of your sartorial comfort zone? Our new collection is bound to inspire you to inject some much-needed color into your wardrobe. After a pared-back season of wearing black cocktail dresses and gray wool coats, why not throw yourself into the color-blocking trend with full force?

Read up on our how-to tips for sure-fire success:

1. Keep it tonal

Choose one color and stick to it - wearing different shades of the same color adds variety and prevents the look from appearing one-dimensional. Avoid adding another color into the equation as it will overcomplicate things and reduce the overall impact of your look.

2. Just add white

Introducing flashes of white stripes or checks will break up the colorful components in a subtle way, while adding a sporty edge to the look.

3. Texture play

Adding frills or pleats into the mix is another great way to break up a head-to-toe colorblock.

4. Finishing touch

You’ll be pleased to know you won’t have to invest in bright green shoes any time soon, as your footwear is exempt from these color blocking rules. Simply wear your favorite RED (V) sandals (with socks if you’d like) and you’re all set.
